If the appliance is switched off for too long, the ice in the reservoir melts and the water
drips onto the floor. To prevent this, you must remove all the ice from the reservoir (see
‘Maintenance’).
If no ice comes out of the dispenser, check whether there is ice stuck in the outlet and
remove it. Or check whether there are ice cubes clumped together in the reservoir and
remove them (see ‘Maintenance’). Also, if you do not remove ice from the dispenser for a
long period of time, the ice in the reservoir may start to clump.
Do not use the dispenser for ice delivery for more than 1 minute at a time. This prevents
the ice maker’s motor from getting too hot.
Switching off the ice maker
If you do not need ice, you can switch off the ice maker to save water and energy.
1. Press the ice maker key.
▷ The pictogram is illuminated.
▷ The ice maker is switched off.
Only the ice maker is switched off; the dispenser still delivers water.
