INLEIDING Gefeliciteerd met de aanschaf van uw wasdroger. Deze gebruikershandleiding bevat belangrijke informatie met betrekking tot de ingebruikstelling, bediening en het onderhoud. Deze handleiding beschrijft hoe u uw wasdroger zo optimaal mogelijk kunt benutten. Naast informatie over de bediening treft u ook achtergrondinformatie aan die u van dienst kan zijn bij het gebruik van dit apparaat.

TOESTELBESCHRIJVING 4. Indicatielampje waterreservoir: het lampje knippert wanneer het waterreservoir geleegd moet worden. 5. VEILIGHEID Let op de volgende symbolen op het wasetiket voordat u het wasgoed droogt: Niet geschikt voor trommeldrogen Liggend drogen Geschikt voor trommeldrogen Nat laten drogen Hangend drogen Drogen in de schaduw Waarschuwingen ter voorkoming van brand, elektrische schokken en andere ongevallen • De wasdroger moet op een geaard stopcontact aangesloten worden. • Wanneer u gebruik maakt van de verwarmingsfunctie, wordt de wasdroger met maximaal 10 A belast.
VEILIGHEID Kans op letsel • Deze wasdroger is niet bedoeld voor gebruik door personen (inclusief kinderen) met beperkte lichamelijke, zintuiglijke of geestelijke vermogens of een gebrek aan ervaring en kennis, tenzij zij onder toezicht staan of worden geïnstrueerd over het gebruik van de wasdroger door een persoon die verantwoordelijk is voor hun veiligheid. • De wasdroger is geen speelgoed. Laat kinderen er niet mee spelen. • Demonteer en installeer de wasdroger niet zonder instructie of supervisie.
VEILIGHEID • Plaats de wasdroger in een goed geventileerde ruimte voor goede luchtcirculatie. • Houd ventilatieopeningen vrij. • Plaats geen zware lasten of hete voorwerpen bovenop de wasdroger om vervorming van het bedieningspaneel te voorkomen. • Maak (broek)zakken leeg. • Het is niet toegestaan de flexibele afvoerbuis rechtstreeks op het rookkanaal van uw schoorsteen aan te sluiten. Dit ter voorkoming van rook- en stofuitwisseling.
VEILIGHEID Automatische uitschakeling • Wanneer er geen droogprogramma gekozen wordt, schakelt de wasdroger automatisch uit na 10 minuten. • De wasdroger schakelt automatisch uit nadat het alarm van het droogprogramma 6 keer is afgegaan.
INGEBRUIKNAME Controleer of het toestel is geplaatst en aangesloten volgens de instructies in het installatievoorschrift achter in deze handleiding. Vóór het in gebruik nemen De wasdroger kan nog stof en smeer bevatten van het productieproces of het vervoer. Om te voorkomen dat uw kleding vuil wordt, moet u voor het eerste gebruik een proefprogramma draaien. EDM207L 1. Doe wat schone vochtige doeken in de droogtrommel. 2. INGEBRUIKNAME • Keer wasgoed en (broek)zakken binnenstebuiten. • Sluit alle ritsen, knopen en haakjes en strik linten. • Droog geen ongewassen artikelen in de wasdroger. Eventueel vuil verdwijnt niet in de wasdroger. • Voor een goed droogresultaat moet u het wasgoed sorteren op basis van textielsoort en droogprogramma. • Stop altijd wasgoed van verschillende formaten bij elkaar. • Kleine kledingstukken altijd aanvullen met een tweetal handdoeken.

BEDIENING EDM207L Programmaoverzicht EDM207L Programma Katoen Maximale laadgewicht Voor gewone en bonte was van katoen of linnen. BEDIENING EDM207L Droogtrommelverlichting (alleen EDM207L) De droogtrommelverlichting schakelt in als u de vuldeur opent, maar u kunt deze ook zelf activeren tijdens het drogen door op de toets ‘Lamp’ te drukken. Automatische anti-kreukfunctie Om te voorkomen dat de kleding kreukt nadat het programma klaar is, zal de droger gedurende 2 uur automatisch met intervallen roteren. Een droogprogramma uitvoeren 1. BEDIENING EDM207L Kinderslot Om te voorkomen dat de knoppen bediend kunnen worden (bijvoorbeeld door kinderen) als de droger in werking is, kunt u deze functie instellen. Alle toetsen zijn nu buiten werking, behalve de programmakeuzeknop. Kinderslot in-/uitschakelen • Druk gedurende 3 seconden gelijktijdig op de toets ‘Lamp/Starten over...’ en toets ‘Anti-kreuk’ terwijl het programma loopt. U hoort een pieptoon en het kindersloticoon licht op; alle toetsen zijn vergrendeld.

BEDIENING EDM106B Een droogprogramma uitvoeren 1. Steek de stekker in het stopcontact. 2. Vul de droger met wasgoed. 3. Kies een programma met de programmatoets op basis van de textielsoort en het gewicht van het wasgoed (zie de tabel op pagina 19). 4. Kies een temperatuur met de temperatuurtoets op basis van de textielsoort en het gewicht van het wasgoed (zie de tabel op pagina 19). 5. Kies eventueel de extra functie Anti-kreuk door op de desbetreffende toets te drukken.
BEDIENING EDM106B Kinderslot Om te voorkomen dat de knoppen bediend kunnen worden (bijvoorbeeld door kinderen) als de droger in werking is, kunt u deze functie instellen. Alle toetsen zijn nu buiten werking. Kinderslot in-/uitschakelen • Druk gedurende 3 seconden gelijktijdig op de temperatuurtoets en de programmatoets terwijl het programma loopt. U hoort een pieptoon en het indicatielampje boven de sleutel gaat branden; alle toetsen zijn vergrendeld.
ONDERHOUD Voordat u met onderhoud begint • Neem de stekker uit het stopcontact of schakel de stroomtoevoer uit. Waarschuwing! • Sproei of spoel de droger niet af met water. Kans op kortsluiting! Algemeen Reinigen behuizing en droogtrommel Gebruik een zachte, vochtige doek, voor het reinigen van de behuizing en de droogtrommel. • Niet met water spoelen. • Gebruik geen schuurspons / schuurmiddel. • Niet met alcohol reinigen. Laat de vuldeur na reiniging open staan voor ventilatie. Pluizenfilter reinigen 1.
ONDERHOUD Condensor reinigen (EDM207L) 1. Laat de wasdroger afkoelen. 2. Plaats een absorberende doek onder het servicepaneel om overtollig vocht op te vangen. 3. Open het servicepaneel. 4. Duw beide sluithendels naar elkaar toe. 5. Trek de condensor eruit. 6. Reinig de condensor grondig, goed doorspoelen. 7. Reinig de sluitringen. 8. Plaats de condensor terug. 9. Duw beide sluithendels terug. 10.Sluit het servicepaneel. • Reinig de condensor na elke 5 droogbeurten.
STORINGEN Algemeen Wanneer u twijfelt over de goede werking van uw wasdroger, betekent dit niet automatisch dat er een defect is. Controleer in elk geval de punten in de volgende tabellen of kijk voor meer informatie op de website ‘www.etnaservice.nl’. • Reparaties moeten worden uitgevoerd door het servicecenter of een gekwalificeerd persoon. Controleer eerst of u het probleem zelf kunt verhelpen voordat u de klantenservice belt.

STORINGEN Storingstabellen EDM106B Bij de volgende storingen hoort u een geluidssignaal gedurende 10 seconden. Indien de storing aanhoudt, klinkt het geluidssignaal elke 16 minuten gedurende 10 seconden. NL 26 Visuele weergave en storing Oorzaak Oplossing De indicatielampjes ‘Extra droog’ en ‘Kastdroog’ knipperen: oververhitting. De temperatuur is te hoog. Schakel de wasdroger uit en wacht tot de temperatuur gedaald is. De indicatielampjes ‘Kastdroog’ en ‘Strijkdroog’ knipperen: vuldeur is geopend.
STORINGEN Probleem Oorzaak Oplossing De wasdroger verwarmt niet. - Toestel is thermisch uitgevallen. - Reset het toestel met de resetknop op de achterzijde (rechtsboven) van het toestel. De wasdroger start niet. - Stroomuitval. - Wacht tot stroom weer inschakelt. - Controleer of de stekker goed in het stopcontact zit - Wasgoed moet vooraf gecentrifugeerd worden, het maximale vulgewicht van de droogtrommel is 6 kg. - Bel de klantenservice. - De stekker zit niet goed in het stopcontact.
MILIEU ASPECTEN Afvoeren toestel en verpakking Bij de vervaardiging van dit toestel is gebruik gemaakt van duurzame materialen. Dit toestel moet aan het eind van zijn levenscyclus op verantwoorde wijze worden afgevoerd. De overheid kan u hierover informatie verschaffen. De verpakking van het toestel is recyclebaar. Gebruikt kunnen zijn: • karton; • polyethyleenfolie (PE); • CFK- vrij polystyreen (PS- hardschuim). Deze materialen dient u op verantwoorde wijze en conform de overheidsbepalingen af te voeren.
INSTALLATIE Plaatsingsinstructies • Plaats de wasdroger waterpas op een solide, vlakke ondergrond. • Plaats de wasdroger niet op een zachte ondergrond, of een ondergrond van hout. • Zorg dat de wasdroger niet blootgesteld wordt aan vocht of weersomstandigheden. • Plaats de wasdroger niet buitenshuis; kans op schade door bevriezing. • Plaats de droger niet met de achterzijde tegen gordijnen of iets dergelijks. • Plaats de wasdroger niet in de nabijheid van brandbare producten. INSTALLATIE ▷ Als de wasdroger niet waterpas geplaatst wordt (de hellingshoek mag niet groter dan 2 graden zijn), kan de wasdroger gaan wankelen of uitschakelen. 3. Monteer de flexibele afvoerbuis. ▷ Sluit de ene kant van de flexibele buis aan op de krans aan de luchtuitlaat aan de achterzijde. Draai de buis aan tot deze vastzit. ▷ Voer het andere uiteinde van de flexibele buis naar buiten. De juiste installie kunt u zien in de volgende afbeeldingen.

SAFETY Note the following symbols on the care label before you dry any laundry: Not suitable for tumble drying Dry flat Suitable for tumble drying Drip dry Line dry Dry in shade Warnings to prevent fire, electric shock and other accidents • The tumble dryer must be connected to an earthed plug socket. • When you use the heating function, the tumble dryer has a maximum charge of 10 A. Make sure the circuit(s) cannot be overloaded and that it has a 16 A fuse.
SAFETY Risk of injury • This tumble dryer is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capacity or with a lack of experience and knowledge, unless they are supervised or instructed in how to use the tumble dryer by a person, who is responsible for their safety. • The tumble dryer is not a toy. Do not allow children to play with it. • Do not remove and install the tumble dryer without instruction or supervision.
SAFETY • Position the tumble dryer in a well ventilated room to ensure good air circulation. • Ensure air vents remain unblocked. • To prevent strain on the operating panel, do not place heavy loads or hot objects on top of the tumble dryer. • Empty (trouser) pockets. • Connecting the flexible outlet pipe directly to your chimney flue is not permitted. This is to prevent any exchange of smoke and soot.
SAFETY Automatic shut-off • If no drying program is selected, the tumble dryer automatically switches off after 10 minutes. • The tumble dryer automatically shuts off after the drying program alarm has been triggered 6 times.
COMMISSIONING Make sure the unit has been installed and connected according to the instructions in the installation instructions at the back of this manual. Before using the appliance The tumble dryer may still contain dust and grease from the production process or transportation. COMMISSIONING • Turn laundry and (trouser) pockets inside out. • Fasten all zips, buttons and hooks and tie any straps. • Do not dry any unwashed items in the tumble dryer. Any unwanted items (rubbish) will remain in the dryer. • For positive drying results, you should sort the laundry according to fabric type and drying program. • Always load laundry of different sizes together. • Always add in a couple of towels with small garments.

OPERATING THE EDM207L Dryer drum lighting (EDM207L) The dryer drum lighting switches on when you open the door, although you can also activate it yourself whilst drying by pressing the 'Lamp' button. Automatic anti-crease function To prevent the clothes from creasing after the program has finished, the tumble dryer will automatically rotate at intervals for 2 hours. Running a drying program 1. Plug the plug into the socket. 2. Fill the tumble dryer with laundry. 3.
OPERATING THE EDM207L Child lock You can set up this function to prevent it being possible to operate the buttons (e.g. children) when the dryer is running. All buttons are now disabled, except for the program selector dial. Switching on/off the child lock • Press the 'Bulb/Start in...' and 'Anti-crease' button at the same time for 3 seconds while the program is running. You will hear a beep and the child lock icon lights up; all buttons are locked. • Once again press the 'Bulb/Start in...

Press the Start/Pause button. Rotate the program selector dial to '0' at the end of the drying program. 7. Remove the laundry from the drum. 8. Clean the fluff lint filter and empty the reservoir.

OPERATING THE EDM106B Running a drying program 1. Plug the plug into the socket. 2. Fill the tumble dryer with laundry. 3. Select a program using the program button based on the fabric type and the weight of the laundry (see table on page 19). 4. Select a temperature using the temperature button based on the fabric type and the weight of the laundry (see table on page 19). 5. Where applicable, select the additional anti-crease function by pressing the appropriate button.
OPERATING THE EDM106B Child lock You can set up this function to prevent it being possible to operate the buttons (e.g. children) when the dryer is running. All buttons are disabled. Switching on/off the child lock • Press the temperature button and the program button at the same time for 3 seconds while the program is running. You will hear a beep and the LED above the key lights up; all buttons are locked. • Press the temperature button and the program button again at the same time for 3 seconds .
MAINTENANCE Before starting maintenance • Remove the mains lead or turn off the power supply. Warning! • Do not spray or rinse the dryer with water. Risk of short circuit! General Cleaning the housing and drum Use a soft, damp cloth to clean the housing and the drum. • Do not rinse with water. • Do not use an abrasive pad / abrasive. • Do not clean with alcohol. Leave the door open for ventilation after cleaning. Cleaning the fluff lint filter 1.
MAINTENANCE Cleaning the condenser (EDM207L) 1. Allow the tumble dryer to cool. 2. Place an absorbent cloth under the service panel to capture any excess moisture. 3. Open the service panel. 4. Push both locking levers towards one another. 5. Pull the condenser out. 6. Clean the condenser thoroughly, rinse well. 7. Clean the washers. 8. Refit the condenser. 9. Push both locking levers back in place. 10.Close the service panel. • Clean the condenser every 5 drying cycles.
FAULTS General If you have any doubts about whether your tumble dryer is working properly, this does not automatically mean that there is a problem. If in doubt, check the points set out in the following tables or for more information visit the web site 'www.etnaservice.nl'. • Repairs must be performed by the service centre or a qualified person. First check whether you are able to rectify the problem yourself before calling Customer Service.
FAULTS Problem Solution Display does not come on. - Check that the plug is in the socket. - Check that a drying program has been set. - Check the fuse. is flashing. - Reservoir is full: empty the reservoir. - Pump fault: check the pump. - Check the hose for condensation. is flashing. - Air circulation is obstructed: clean the filter and the condenser. FAULTS EDM106B fault tables In the event of the following faults, you will hear a beep for 10 seconds. If the fault persists, the beep sounds every 16 minutes for 10 seconds. EN 26 Visual display and fault Cause Solution The 'Extra Dry' and 'Cupboard Dry' LEDs are flashing: overheating. The temperature is too high. Switch off the tumble dryer and wait until the temperature has fallen. The 'Cupboard Dry' and 'Iron Dry' LEDs are flashing: door is open. The door has been opened during a program.
FAULTS Problem Cause Solution The tuble dryer does not heat up. - Thermal failure. - Reset appliance with the reset button on the back (at the top right) of the appliance. The tumble dryer will not start. - Power failure. - Wait until the power is switched on again. - Check that the plug is properly plugged in at the socket - Laundry first needs to be spun, the maximum drum load is 6 kg. - Call Customer Service. - The plug is not properly plugged in at the socket. - Drum too full.

This appliance must be disposed of responsibly at the end of its service life. The government can provide you with information about this. The packaging of the appliance is recyclable. The following are used: • cardboard; • polyethylene film (PE); • CFC-free polystyrene (PS rigid foam).
INSTALLATION Positioning instructions • Position the tumble dryer so that it is level on a solid, flat surface. • Do not put the tumble dryer on a soft surface, or on a wooden base. • Make sure the tumble dryer is not exposed to moisture or weather conditions. • Do not put the tumble dryer outdoors; there is a risk of damage from freezing conditions. • Do not put the tumble dryer with its back against curtains or anything similar. • Do not put the tumble dryer in the vicinity of flammable products.
INSTALLATION ▷ If the tumble dryer is not fitted so that it is level (the inclination should not be greater than 2 degrees), the tumble dryer may start to shake or switch off. 3. Fit the flexible outlet pipe. ▷ Connect one end of the flexible pipe to the rim to the air outlet at the rear. Screw on the pipe until it locks in place. ▷ Run the other end of the flexible pipe outdoors. The correct installation process can be seen in the following figures.
