Operation
Setting the thermostat
The thermostat automatically regulates the temperature inside the
refrigerator and freezer compartment (if present).
The normal temperature setting is position 3. At position 0, the
refrigerator is off.
Set a higher temperature by turning the tuning knob to setting 1 or 2.
Set a lower temperature by turning the tuning knob to setting 4 or 5.
Caution!
The temperature inside the refrigerator (and freezer) is affected by the
ambient temperature, the temperature of not yet chilled foods and
how often the door is opened. The setting of the thermostat must be
adjusted according to these factors.
If you use the appliance for the first time, only fill it when the desired
temperature is reached.
If the appliance is switched off, you must wait at least 5 minutes before
switching it on again. This prevents damage to the compressor.
Your refrigerator can be equipped with or without freezer.
The refrigerator cools between 4-6ºC. At this setting, the temperature in
the freezer is -18ºC or lower.
There can probably be a foul smell when you switch on the appliance
for the first time. This disappears when the appliance starts cooling.
