Using the rechargeable lithium ion battery The Raptor uses an 1800 mAh, 3.7 Volt DC, rechargeable lithium-ion battery. When fully charged, this battery will power the radio for about 30 hours at low volume. When you purchase the Raptor it may have enough charge to play the radio for a short period of time. However, it is recommended to charge it by following the instructions below.
tuning in stations The Raptor plays AM (520-1710 KHz), FM (87.5-108 MHz) and 7 NOAA Weather Channels. FM band: FM . MHZ AM band: AM KHZ Weather band: WB . MHZ Turn the radio on. Select AM, FM or WB with the M button, directly below the display. When listening to FM and Weather channels, pull up the telescopic antenna all the way. When tuning AM stations the telescopic antenna is not needed and can be lowered, because the radio uses an internal ferrite bar antenna for AM.
ACTIVATING THE NOAA WEATHER ALERT FEATURE The weather alert feature allows the NOAA Weather Service and other governmental agencies to send emergency alerts. Tune to your strongest weather channel (you may only receive one channel). Press and release the MEM button. Note that the radio goes silent, but it’s still on, constantly monitoring the weather frequency. When an alert is sent by the channel, the radio comes on and you’ll hear the alert being broadcast..
TO DELETE A MEMORY Simply program a new station into that memory. CHARGING CELL PHONES The Raptor provides 5Volts DC out put at 500 mA for cell phone charging from the USB socket on the unit. With the Raptor on or off, plug in your cell phone and press and hold the button labeled CELL until CELL will appear on the left center of the display. To stop charging, press and hold CELL for 4 seconds.
TM (Clock): When you’ve switched to TM, you may see T1 or T2 above the T in TM. Press the M button for 3 seconds to switch from one to the other. These are the 2 clocks that can be set. You can set one for your time zone and the other for another time zone. To set the clock, year, month, day, and 12 or 24 hour clock, in either T1 or T2, 1. 2. 3. 4. 5. 6. 7. Press CAL for 3 seconds. While the hour is flashing, set it to the correct time by pressing the or buttons. Press M to change to setting the minutes.
T1 MEMORY FT CP (Digital Compass) The altimeter is shown in feet or meters in the lower right corner of the display. 1. 2. 3. 4. 5. 6. Press CAL for three seconds to enter the setting mode. CAL then displays in the upper right of the display. Turn the Raptor twice slowly, about 15s/turn to check the current position. Press CAL quickly to set the data. Press M to switch the unit of measurement. Press the or buttons to adjust the data. Quickly press CAL to update the compass data.
ICON CONDITION Remarks Rainy Barometric pressure is low or getting low, implies it is raining or going to rain. Sunny High barometric pressure, indicates good weather. Cloudy Low barometric pressure, indicates possibilities of rains. Partly Cloudy Barometric pressure is getting lower or higher, indicates unstable weather. CH (Chronograph): A quick, short press of CAL turns the chronograph on and off. To clear the chronographic data, use a 3 second press of the M button.
AL (Alarm): Use a 3 second press of the M button to select alarm 1 or alarm 2. Use a 3 second press of CAL to get the hour to blink. Set the hour with the or buttons. A quick, short press of M makes the minutes blink. Set the minutes with the or buttons. A quick, short press of CAL exits the alarm setting mode. Activate alarm 1 or 2 with a quick, short press of MEM. Go back and forth between alarm 1 and 2 with a 3 second press of M. The beeping of alarm 1 and 2 are different.

UTILIZACIÓN DE LA PILA RECARGABLE DE IÓN DE LITIO Su Raptor utiliza una pila recargable de ión de litio de 3,7 VCC, 1.800 mAh. Cuando está totalmente cargada, esta pila permitirá utilizar la radio durante 30 horas a un volumen reducido. Tras adquirir su Raptor, es posible que la pila tenga suficiente carga como para poder utilizar la radio durante un periodo relativamente corto. No obstante, se recomienda recargar la pila conforme a las instrucciones indicadas a continuación.

FM . MHZ CÓMO ACCEDER A LA INFORMACIÓN GUARDADA EN LA MEMORIA Pulse brevemente el botón "MEM". El número asignado a la emisora presintonizada aparecerá en la esquina superior derecha de la pantalla. Mientras se muestra en la misma, utilice los botones y para seleccionar la memoria deseada. CÓMO ELIMINAR LOS DATOS GUARDADOS EN UNA MEMORIA Bastará con guardar una nueva emisora en dicha memoria.
UTILIZACIÓN Y CONFIGURACIÓN DEL RELOJ, TERMÓMETRO, ALTÍMETRO, BRÚJULA DIGITAL, BARÓMETRO, CRONÓMETRO, REGISTRO DEL ALTÍMETRO Y ALARMA Para visualizar y configurar cualquiera de estas funciones, deberá acceder primero al modo de visualización y después al modo de configuración de la función que corresponda. Para acceder al modo de visualización, mantenga pulsado el botón "FN" durante 4 segundos. Observe que se muestran dos letras en la esquina superior derecha de la pantalla.
Para configurar la hora, el año, mes, día y seleccionar entre los formatos de visualización de 12 ó 24 horas para cada uno de los relojes T1 o T2, proceda como sigue: 1. 2. 3. 4. 5. 6. 7. Mantenga pulsado el botón "CAL" durante 3 segundos. Mientras la indicación de la hora parpadea en la pantalla, ajuste la hora correcta utilizando los botones y . ELEMENTOS SITUADOS DEBAJO DE LA LENGÜETA DE GOMA EXISTENTE EN EL LADO DERECHO DEL APARATO Los elementos descritos a continuación aparecen de izquierda a derecha en el aparato. VOL- pour le baisser. UTILISATION DE LA BATTERIE RECHARGEABLE LITHIUM-ION Le Raptor fonctionne avec une batterie rechargeable lithium-ion de 1800 mA, 3,7 V DC. Avec une charge complète, la radio peut fonctionner pendant environ 30 heures à faible volume. Lors de l’achat, la batterie de votre Raptor est partiellement chargée et vous permet d'utiliser la radio pendant une durée assez courte. UTILISER ET REGLER L’HORLOGE, LE THERMOMETRE, L’ALTIMETRE, LA BOUSSOLE NUMERIQUE, LE BAROMETRE, LE CHRONOMETRE, LE RELEVE ALTIMETRIQUE ET L’ALARME Pour afficher et régler l’une de ses fonctions, vous devez entrer dans le mode de visualisation des fonctions, puis dans le mode de réglage. Pour entrer dans le mode de visualisation, appuyez sur la touche FN pendant 4 secondes. Deux lettres s’affichent dans le coin supérieur droit de l’écran.

T1 MEMORY FT CP (BOUSSOLE NUMERIQUE) L’appareil n’a pas été encore étalonné lors que vous utilisez cette fonction pour la première fois, c’est pourquoi « Err » s’affiche dans la partie supérieure droite de son écran. 1. 2. 3. 4. 5. 6. Appuyez sur la touche CAL pendant 3 secondes pour entrer dans le mode de réglage. CAL s’affiche dans la partie supérieure droite de l’écran. Tournez lentement le Raptor deux fois (environ 15 s pour effectuer un tour) pour détecter l’orientation actuelle.
MBAR (BAROMETRE) Les mesures barométriques peuvent être affichées en mmHg ou mbar. Pour changer l’unité d’affichage, appuyez sur la touche M pendant 3 secondes. Maintenez la touche CAL appuyée pour afficher les icônes météo sur l’écran LCD. L’une des icônes se met à clignoter, sélectionnez une icône correspondant à la météo actuelle avec les touches . L’icône sélectionnée se met à clignoter. Pendant qu’elle clignote, appuyez sur la touche M d’une pression courte pour entrer dans le mode de réglage.
ATL (RELEVE ALTIMETRIQUE): Les touches vous permettent de visualiser les données altimétriques enregistrées. Le numéro de mémoire est affiché à l’écran dans le cercle à gauche de ATL. À chaque pression, le numéro de mémoire change de 1 jusqu’à 10 avant de repasser à 1. La valeur est affichée dans la partie inférieure centrale de l’écran. T1 MEMORY MONTH DAY YEAR FT AL (ALARME): Appuyez sur la touche M pendant 3 secondes pour sélectionner l’alarme 1 ou 2.
FONCTIONS DISPONIBLES SOUS LE CAOUTCHOUC LATERAL De la gauche vers la droite: BOUTON DE RÉINITIALISATION: Appuyez sur ce bouton avec un stylo à bille ou un objet similaire. Cela permet de réinitialiser l’appareil, mais n’efface pas sa mémoire. Réinitialisez l’appareil s’il ne fonctionne plus correctement. PRISE MINI-USB: Permet d’alimenter l’appareil avec un câble USB.
