5.2 Operation
The software has the basic task of setting up the KNXnet/IP Router and adapting
its IP parameters to the network.
5.2.1 Device Settings
You can view or set general data such as device name, project number or
installation number in the “Device settings” area of the user interface.

Device settings
Device name
Freely selectable device name with a maximum of 30
characters to identify the device in the ETS.
Voltage monitor
Response of the device to a bus power failure:
“unlocked”: Failure and restoration of power on the bus
line is reported via KNXnet/IP.
“locked”: Power failure and restoration are not
reported.
[Extended settings]
This button opens the “Extended device parameters”
dialog for setting the Project number
(value range 0…4096) and the
Installation number (value range 0…15)
