HOW TO MONITOR WATER QUALITY
1. Make sure you seal the charging port with the waterproof cap before putting the Smart
Buoy into your pool.
2. Immerse the Smart Buoy Sensor completely into the water. Shake it slightly to force the
bubbles out of the sensor. Trapped bubbles will affect the accuracy of water testing.
3. To refresh the test results, please make sure your phone’s Bluetooth is enabled. Open
the app and it will discover and connect to the Smart Buoy automatically when your
phone is within its Bluetooth range. The Bluetooth range is approximately 45ft with an
exterior wall in between. When turning the device back on, connect via the bluetooth
and press the “Start” button.
Approximately 45ft
4. The first reading after turning on the device will need some time to calibrate and
calculate. The initial Free Chlorine, pH, TDS, and temperature readings will appear after
3 minutes. The overall readings will be available after a few hours when more data is
collected.
The Smart Buoy categorizes the overall conditions of your pool water via the indicators
