BE SURE THE POWER IS OFF! Risk of electric shock, always use the switch to power off. Do not perform any operations while this unit is powered on. The electrical system

you want to connect the device to must be grounded. Read the instructions before using or powering this device. The safety instructions must be taken into account and

respected in order to avoid user error, which can cause damages. The operating instructions must remain with the unit in case of transfer. Any damage to the device linked

to an inappropriate use is excluded from support by the warranty. Before connecting, make sure that the current and voltage are compatible with this device. We highly

recommend that all installations are made by a QUALIFIED ELECTRICIAN. We are NOT responsible by any means for the use or misuse of the following information. We

are NOT responsible in whole or in part for any harm or damage that may or may not be caused. We reserve the right to revise the components of any product, due to part

availability or change in ETL, CUL or UL standards without assuming any obligation or liability to modify any products previously manufactured and without notice. These

instructions do not cover all details of variations in equipment, nor do they provide every possible contingency to be met. Turn off / unplug power when installing or servicing

this device. FAILURE TO FULLY INSTALL THIS PRODUCT MIGHT RESULT IN AN ELECTRICAL HAZARD

CONSULT A QUALIFIED ELECTRICIAN TO ENSURE CORRECT BRANCH CIRCUIT CONDUCTOR. MINIMUM 90° C (194° F) SUPPLY CONDUCTORS.

THIS PRODUCT MUST BE INSTALLED IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE APPLICABLE INSTALLATION CODE BY A PERSON FAMILIAR WITH THE

CONSTRUCTION AND OPERATION OF THE PRODUCT AND THE HAZARDS ASSOCIATED.

Pre- Installation:

-Turn power OFF from electrical panel before starting installation.

-Locate a suitable location for the fixture and cut the correctly sized hole in the drywall or ceiling tile (for a suspended

T-Bar type ceiling) -- refer to Hole Cut Sizes table for appropriate size.

-Run electrical wire from the switch (power supply) throuhg the mounting hole; use NMD90 Romex or BX Cable.

For new-construction installation: An aluminum mounting plate is required; see INSTALLING NEW-CONSTRUCTION

MOUNTING PLATE below.

For remodel installation: No mounting plate or can is required; see DRIVER WIRING below.

Driver Wiring (See Figure 1 and 2):

1. Open the hard wire box swing cover and remove the appropriate knockout(s).

2. Insert the electrical supply cable through the knockout and secure with a cable connector (sold separately).

3. Using wire nuts, connect green ground wire of cable to green wire on box, connect white wire of cable to white wire of

box, connect black wire of cable

to black wire of box (See Figure 1).

4. Place all wiring and connections back in to the box and close the cover.

5. Insert hard wire box through the mounting holes (See Figure 2).

**For new construction applications: Hard wire box shall be firmly secured to studs, joists, or similar fixed structural units.

***For remodel application: Hard wire box is not required to be secured after the plates, studs, joists, or structural units

have been concealed.

Fixture Installation (See Figure 3 and 4):

1. Connect the fixture to the hard wire box by inserting and twisting the male/female connectors (Figure 3).

2. Push spring loaded clips on the fixture upwards and inserts fixture base into the mounting hole.

3. Release the clips and fixture will be pulled flush to the ceiling (See Figure 4).

4. Once assembly is complete, turn on power to confirm fixture is working properly.

Care and Maintenance

Use only a mild soap and water with soft cloth to clean the fixture. Harsh chemicals will damage the finish. Do not wipe

the fixture with a rough cloth that may scratch the finish or the lens.
