c) Testing the function of the weather station and outdoor sensor
You can test the function of the weather station and the outdoor sensor before you install them permanently. The
weather station and the outdoor sensor should not be more than 1.7 m to 3.3 m apart during the rst synchronisation
attempt.
Establish the power supply to the weather station and outdoor sensor as outlined in chapter ‘10. Operation’.
If necessary, wait a short while until the signal from the outdoor sensor has been successfully received. You can
simulate wind by turning the wind speed sensor (D) and rain by adding water to the rain funnel (A) to obtain initial
measured values from all sensors.
After installing and testing functionality, erase all recorded data to avoid measuring inaccurate precipitation
and wind data later during regular operation.
Press and hold the HISTORY button (6) for 10 seconds. This will erase all previously recorded data.
The time and connection to the outdoor sensor (pairing) are not affected. You will not need to reset the time
or pair the weather station and outdoor sensor again.
d) Time display and time setting
