14. Care and cleaning
Never use aggressive detergents, rubbing alcohol or other chemical solutions, as these may damage the
housing or stop the product from functioning properly.
• Disconnect the product from the power supply before cleaning. To do this, remove the batteries or disconnect the
weather station from the mains socket.
• Do not immerse the product in water.
• Use a dry, lint-free cloth to clean the product.
15. Maintenance
a) Cleaning the rain funnel

1. Unscrew the rain funnel 30° anticlockwise.
2. Carefully remove the train funnel.
3. Clean and remove any debris or insects from the
funnel.
4. Reinstall the funnel when it is clean and completely
dry.
b) Cleaning the thermal-hygro sensor module on the outdoor sensor
1. Remove the 2 screws from the base of the shielding (F).
2. Pull off the shielding.
3. Carefully remove any dirt or insects from the sensor casing. Do not let the
sensors get wet on the inside.
4. Clean the shielding with water to remove dirt or insects.
5. Reinstall all parts in reverse order when they are clean and completely dry.
