5.2 Intended use and not allowed uses of the product
The product is intended for professional use and must be installed by qualified personnel only.
The product must be installed in a secured location, accessible to authorized personnel only
(for example in a cabinet / technical compartment).
5.2.1 Intended use
The product is a modular IoT Edge Gateway system, EN 50155 certified.
The product must:

Be installed in a secured location, only accessible to authorized personnel (for example in a
cabinet/ technical compartment), and not exposed to atmospheric agent
l
Be used indoors in railway applications
l
Be used with appropriate interconnecting and power cables
l
Be used with an external DC power supply source that meets the requirements stated on the
identification label of the product
l
Be used with the earthing terminals connected to an earth point in the installation.
5.2.2 Not allowed uses
Do not use the product:
l
In defense applications
l
In automotive applications
l
In industrial applications
l
Outdoors
l
In safety-critical applications
l
In environments with potentially explosive atmospheres
l
If not installed according to the instructions and warnings contained in this document.
