Platinum DC Upright Mounting Kits
The Mounting Kit consists of is 4 separate pieces.
 2 top piece to allow for both left and right opening doors. (only only 1 to be used)
 2 side pieces
The parts need to be attached to the top and two sides of the cabinet.
Once attached, it is the full height and width of the cabinet (the side pieces do not go all
the way to the floor).
It adds approximately 25mm to the height and 50mm to the total width (25mm each side).
There are pre-drilled holes in the three pieces of the mounting kit to attach to the walls
of the unit. These pre-drilled holes are the ONLY place the Mounting Kit should be
attached, failure to do so will void the Platinum DC Upright’s warranty.
We suggest using rivets to attach the kit, and when drilling into the cabinet, using a drill-
stop to only allow the drill bit to just pierce the outer skin of the cabinet.
It is also designed to be fitted within the first 50mm of the front of the cabinet
(typically fitted at the front edge of the cabinet to give a flush finish).
The top piece comes with a cut out to suit the hinge.
When purchased the Mounting Kit comes as standard with two tops, to suit either the
standard hinge location or if changed to the other side.
The DC110 Mounting Kit is slightly different in that it only has one top piece in the kit, as
it has both the possible locations for the hinge / latch already cut-out. Otherwise it is
the same as the other kits.
