NOTE: If, after checking all of the solutions below, you believe that your
WhisperConnnect Parent/Baby Unit is damaged, please call ParentLink at
1-800-233-5921.
Make sure BOTH units are properly plugged into the wall and the outlet is
switched on.
Make sure both the Parent’s Unit and the Baby’s Unit are set to the same channel.
Recharge battery by attaching the AC adapter and plugging it into an outlet.
Move the Parent’s Unit at least 10 feet away from the Baby’s Unit.
Lower the volume.
Change the frequency channel that is in use. Be sure to change the channel
on BOTH units.
Power indicator
light isn’t working.
A neighbor has a similar baby monitor, cordless
phone or walkie talkie that is transmitting
sounds on the same frequency channel.
Unit isn’t getting power.
Parent’s Unit is picking
up sounds or static
from outside your
home.
Parent’s Unit is making
a loud feedback noise.
Baby’s Unit is picking up sounds from the
Parent’s Unit because they are too close to
each other.
Volume may be set too high.
Battery is weak.
Power indicator light
glows orange
(Parent’s Unit only).
Recharge battery by attaching the AC adapter and plugging it into an outlet.
Turn off, unplug or move the device that is causing the problem.
Move the Parent’s Unit closer to the Baby’s Unit.
Recharge battery by attaching the AC adapter and plugging it into an outlet.
Other household appliances, cordless
phones, fluorescent lights or motors may
be disrupting the signal.
Parent’s Unit may be out of effective range.
Battery is weak.
Reception is poor due
to static, buzzing or
interference.
