Magnetic Catch Ring

Installation & Use Instructions

MOUNTING THE MAGNETIC CATCH RING

After the disposer is fully mounted to the sink,

guide the Magnetic Catch Ring through the

mount screws (A) with the flat portion of the

black strap facing the metal sink flange. Place

the Magnetic Catch Ring between the Support

Flange and Upper Mount Ring. Please note

(B) that the Magnetic Catch Ring must be

placed under the flange of the Support Ring.

Once the Magnetic Catch Ring is fitted, firmly

press on the snaps to secure the strap (C).

The Magnetic Catch Ring attachment captures

most metal objects before they enter into the

disposal chamber. This protective feature helps

prevent damage to the disposal, as well as

expensive repairs caused by metal objects falling

into the disposal. After your disposal is installed,

guide the Magnetic Catch Ring between the

Support Flange and Upper Mount Ring to secure.

Note: The maximum thickness of the sink is 3/4"

for the Magnetic Catch to be installed. If the sink is

thicker, an optional Extended Sink Flange would

be required.
