Jackel Inc. Limited Warranty
Jackel structural foam and fiberglass basins and lids are warranted to the original consumer
purchaser to be free from defects in material and workmanship for as long as the original
consumer owns their home. Jackel will, at its option, replace or repair, FREE OF CHARGE, during
the warranty period any Jackel structural foam or fiberglass basin or lid that proves defective in
material and/or workmanship under normal installation, use and service. This limited warranty
does not cover (i) installations which are in violation of applicable plumbing, housing or building
codes or contrary to written instructions furnished by Jackel or (ii) adverse local conditions
including damage by corrosive elements. All other Jackel products are warranted to the original
consumer purchaser to be free of manufacturing defects for one year.
Jackel recommends using a professional plumber for all installation and repair, and periodic
inspection of Jackel products. Jackel makes no warranty regarding the suitability of a product
for a particular installation. Purchasers are responsible for determining whether a product is
suitable for a specific application. Check valves should be examined periodically and replaced if
worn or damaged.
Both the lifetime warranty for structural foam basins and lids, and the one-year warranty for all
other products are limited exclusively to replacement or repair of a defective product. Labor
charges and/or damage incurred in installation, repair, or replacement are excluded from this
warranty. Consequential damage, collateral damage, property damage, personal and bodily
injury, and claims arising from the loss of use of property, as well as any other kind of loss or
damages, are also excluded from this warranty, unless such restrictions are limited by the law
of the jurisdiction in which the product is purchased. Proof of purchase (original sales receipt)
by the original consumer purchaser must be made available to Jackel for all warranty claims.
This is the exclusive warranty offered by Jackel, Inc., which does not make any other warranty
of any kind, including the implied warranty of merchantability.
This warranty excludes all industrial, agricultural, commercial and business usage of Jackel
products whose purchasers are hereby extended a one-year limited warranty from the date of
purchase, with all the other terms of this warranty applying except the duration of the
warranty.
Some states do not allow the exclusion of incidental or consequential damages, so the above
limitation may not apply to you. Any damages to Jackel products as a result of misuse, abuse,
neglect; movement, distortion, cracking or settling of foundations; improper installation; fire;
freezing; shipping damage by carriers; defects in related products not manufactured by Jackel;
alteration; or any use of other than genuine Jackel replacement parts will void the warranty.
This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights, which vary,
from state to state. It applies only to Jackel products installed in the United States of America
