Clean the debris and contamination around the
sensor probes.

To clean the pump clogged with debris.
Remove the screws (4) and take out the volute (3) from the pump
and clean the debris on the impeller (1).
Reassemble the volute (3), water sensor housing and sensor
protection cap (6), pump base (5).
Troubleshooting
Problem Possible Cause Corrective Action
The pump does not start. 1. If the house fuse is blown.
2.The water level is too low.
3. The probe sensors are contaminated.
4. GFCI is tripped.
1. If blown, replace with a fuse of proper size.
2. Allow the water level to rise to 2 in. or more.
3. Clean the probes.
4. Reset the GFCI
Pump humming or low flow 1. The impeller is blocked.
2. The hose is kinked, bent sharply or coiled.
3. There is airlock.
1. Clean the impeller.
2. Straighten the hose.
3. Clean the anti-air lock hole or reinstall the pump.
Pump does not stop or starts and stops too
often.
1. The probe sensors are contaminated. 1. Clean the probes.
