Note:

*Make sure copper pipe is deburred and free of gouges

1. Check seal for correct fit. Do not use oils or lubricants.

2. Mark proper insertion depth. Improper insertion depth

may result in improper seal.

3. While turning slightly, slide press end onto tubing to

mark the depth. End of tubing must contact stop.

4. Open the tool jaw and place at right angle on the valve.

Visually check insertion depth using mark on tubing.

5. Start pressing process and hold down until tool jaw

has engaged the press end. Only press outer ring.

6. After pressing, the jaw can be opened again.
