C H A P T E R 2 I N S T A L L A T I O N 2.2.2 Adjusting Zoom and Focus It is highly recommended to use Everfocus Test Monitor to test the camera. Find the second Video testing connection at back panel. Connect it with video cable in the package. Power input Video out Connect with Test Monitor 1 .Loosen the zoom ring knob, and then turn the ring towards or as necessary to obtain the desired view range. W side (Zoom out) The viewing range will be wider and the subject is smaller.
C H A P T E R 2 I N S T A L L A T I O N Important Note when focusing a 9-22mm Lens To adjust lens zoom and focus, if using the 9~22mm lens model of ED560 series cameras, the focus aiding lens cap must be used to simulate the dome being closed. Follow the steps below to ensure that camera will stay in focus. Step 1 Take the included focus aiding lens cap (shown below) from its small plastic bag.
C H A P T E R Step4 2 I N S T A L L A T I O N When finished adjusting focus and zoom, remove the focus aiding cap from the camera lens, replace the the dome cover and tighten the tamperproof screws with provided wrench. NOTE: If necessary, you can put desiccant pack in bracket side. Using cable to fix it before place the cover back to camera. Desiccant Pack 2.2.3 Camera Setting 2.2.3.1 OSD User Setup Menu This camera utilizes an On Screen Display (OSD) user setup menu.
C H A P T E R 2 I N S T A L L A T I O N 2.2.4 Close the Camera Cover ED560 is specially designed with one inner cover and one outer cover ring for water-proof and user-friendly installation purpose. Please follow the instruction for closing the camera cover. 1. Aim the lens to window of cover. 2. Push the interior cover until it completely covers the whole red gasket and line up with camera base parallel. The cover need to align with camera base otherwise it cannot be closed.

Configure the camera, please refer to OSD Menu Setup 3.1 OSD Menu Setup Please make sure control key selection switch is at OSD position. When the SETUP menu is displayed on the screen, please direct the arrow to point to “LENS” by turning the mini-joystick UP (c) or DOWN (d). Images are brighter and sharper. 2. When the level of noise is reduced, the performance of a camera can apparently be improved. 3. When it is recorded digitally, reduced noise can reduce image file size.

MIDDLE: Just enough reduction in noise levels without causing much ghost imaging. HIGH: Huge reduction in noise level, which may cause much ghost imaging. NOTE: When AGC is turned off, DNR will be disabled. 3.1.
