4.7.4.2 Other AlarmIN Setting
If the set alarm is another type, the general Alarm Setting interface will show up. The
generalAlarmSettinghasthreesteps:First,setinputmode;thensetprotectionsetupdelay
time;andfinallysetthealarmtime.
Step1:Scrolltoselecttheinputmodetobesetandpress“5”toconfirm.Therearethree
inputmodes:Off,normallyonandnormallyoff.If offisselected,thealarminputportwill
beinvalid.TheothertwomodesarethesameasthoseinChapter5.7.4FireAlarmSetting.
Afterselecting theinputmode,input the focus totransferto theoutputmode check box,
scrolltoselecttheoutput modetobeset and press“5” toconfirm. Therearetwooutput
modes: latched and transparent output. If a latched mode is selected, when the alarm
outputiswithdrawn,thesystemwillkeepthealarmoutputuntiltheendofthealarmtime;
andiftransparentoutputmodeisselected,thealarmoutputandalarminputwilloccurand
bewithdrawnsimultaneously.Afterselectingtheinputandoutputmodes,press“#”tosave
thecurrentsettingsandentertheprotectionsetupdelaytimesettinginterface.
Step2:Afterprotectionsetupofthesystemisconducted,thesystem requires aperiodof
timetorespondtothealarminputfromtheprotectionarea,whichiscalledthealarmdelay
time.The defaultalarmdelay time is30s. After inputtingtheprotectionsetupdelaytime,
press“#”tosavethecurrentsettingandenterthealarmtimesettinginterface.
Step3:In case ofan alarm, thealarm output willlastfor aperiod oftime, which is called
thealarmtime.Whenthealarmexceedsthisperiodoftime,thealarmwillbeautomatically
cleared(except
forfirealarm,whichcanonlybemanuallyreset).Thedefaultalarmtime is1
min. After inputtingthe alarmtime, press“#” to save the currentsetting. The system will
returntothesubmenuofthe“AlarmSetting.
