Now in the second generation, the MIG/AC-DC TIG/Stick Multi-
process line of welders from Everlast has a new look and a new name to
go with it: Lightning. What else would be a better metaphor for the
historic, rst ever Multi-Process MTS line to feature AC-DC TIG? Eve-
rything thing comes to mind. Capturing Lightning in a bottle. Lightning
does strike twice. Lighting Arc. Etc. The name really does say it all.
But for those of you who don’t like to mix metaphors, the new genera-
tion is clearly improved with full color, 480 TFT Digital display that al-
lows the user to clearly see most all relevant and possible settings at a
single glance. Conveniently arranged, in a pinwheel menu, hidden
menus and settings are kept to a bare minimum. No special combina-
tions of buttons have to be simultaneously pressed to access parame-
ters. Simple, and intuitive operation is standard on this model. T
This new generation comes packed with new features as well. The new
Lightning models feature additional AC wave forms and Advanced AC
pulse. The New Power-Set function offers synergic operation of all op-
erating modes. Spot and Stitch timer have also been added to MIG for
improved versatility in the auto-body industry.
Even though many things are new or improved, you still cannot beat the
old, industry leading warranty of 5 years parts and labor.
