Mains Connection

This unit is a Class II appliance which means it is double-insulated for your protection, no

earthing wire is necessary.

If the power cord is damaged, it must be replaced by Ewbank Products Ltd or its appointed

agents to avoid a hazard.

If the fitted plug is cut off from the power cord then the plug must be disposed of safely.

If you are using an extension cord it must be rated at a minimum of 15 Amps and fully unwound.

Do not operate with a lead rated less than 15 Amps as this will cause premature failure of the motor

which is not covered by the warranty.

Unwrap the debris guard from the filter (Fig.4)

then gently shake, tap or brush the filter to

remove dust particles and debris. Both the

filter and debris guard can be washed under

warm water.

Allow 24 hours to ensure the filter has fully

dried before reassembly.

Use the additional filter pack supplied to

continue using your Ewbank Chilli

whilst filter

maintenance is carried out.
