Battery Information • Your LCD Chess uses 2 “AAA” batteries. • Do not mix old and new batteries. • Do not mix alkaline & standard or rechargeable batteries. • Install batteries so that the polarity (+ and -) matches the diagrams in the battery compartment. • Use only batteries of the same type and equivalency. • Remove exhausted batteries from the unit. • Do not short circuit battery terminals. 3. A Pawn can be promoted if it advances all the way to the far side of the board.
