C ongratulations on your purchase of Excalibur Electronics’ radio-controlled Smart City Coupé Scale car. This full-function model has features that include air-filled rubber tires, telescopic antenna, frontwheel and steering trimmer. The radio transmitter is also included. Your Smart City-Coupé is easy to use, but be sure to use it safely. Before starting, please read this manual thoroughly, especially noting safety, care and battery information. Keep this manual for reference.

The switch is located on the underside of the vehicle between the two front wheels and is used to align the wheels for consistent straight-line driving. (See diagram below).

Battery Information • Batteries should be installed or replaced only by an adult. • Your Ford Focus RS uses 3 AA batteries for the car and one 9V battery for the transmitter, not included. • Do not mix alkaline, standard (carbon-zinc) or rechargeable (nickel-metal hydride) batteries. • Do not mix old and new batteries. • Do not use rechargeable batteries. • Remove exhausted batteries from the unit. • Do not short circuit battery terminals.
