Getting started:
Installing Your Grommet Drapes:
Please read through all instructions carefully before you begin installation. carefully remove your new draperies from their packaging. Before hanging your
curtains, Half Price Drapes recommends that you have them professionally pressed to remove fold lines and wrinkles. If you need to remove the wrinkles yourself
it is recommended that you use a garment steamer after the draperies are hung. If you do not have access to a garment steamer the panels can be steamed from
the back of the drape using a steam iron.
NEVER make contact directly with the face of the curtain, especially silk, faux silk, or Velvet panels. Making contact with these fabrics can permanently damage
the fabric and leave a mark that cannot be removed.
You are now ready to hang your draperies.
1. Starting from the front side of the panel thread the rod into the first hole on either end of the panel.
Continue weaving the rest of the grommets on to the rod.
Dressing Your Drapery:
Care & Cleaning:
To help the drape hang properly, and create ripples, slide the grommets next to each other on the rod and pull the fabric on the front of the rod f
orward and the fabric in the back of the rod backward. Once you have arranged the drape, steam the folds in place to help “train” the drapes and keep
the ripples in place after the curtain is opened and closed.
If the drapery is dusty, simply vacuum over it using an upholstery attachment. For stubborn stains or overall deep cleaning,
professional on-site service is recommended.
