MAINTENANCE
Cleaning
The bike can be cleaned with a soft, clean damp cloth. Do not use abrasives or solvents on the
plastic parts. Wipe your perspiration off the bike after each use. Be careful not to get excessive
moisture on the computer display panel as this might cause an electrical hazard or the electronics
to fail. Keep the computer console and the bike, out of direct sunlight to prevent screen damage.
Inspect all assembly bolts, nuts, screws, and pedals on the machine for proper tightness every
week.
Storage
Store the bike in a clean and dry environment away from pets and children.
TROUBLESHOOTING
PROBLEM: There is no display on the computer console.
SOLUTION: Remove the Handlebar Cover (60) and verify the wires that come from the computer
console are properly connected to the wires that come from the rear frame.
SOLUTION: Check if the batteries are correctly positioned and the battery springs are in proper
contact with the batteries.
SOLUTION: The batteries in the computer console may be dead. Replace the dead batteries with
new batteries. Refer to our Console Functions page for more information on how to use the
console.
PROBLEM: There is no heart rate reading or the heart rate reading is erratic / inconsistent.
SOLUTION: Make sure that the wire connections for the hand pulse sensors are secure.
SOLUTION: To ensure the pulse readout is accurate, always hold on to the handlebar grip sensors
with two hands instead of just with one hand.
SOLUTION: Avoid gripping the hand pulse sensors too tight. Try to maintain even pressure while
holding onto the hand pulse sensors.
PROBLEM: There are squeaking noises occurring during usage.
SOLUTION: There may be loose bolts and nuts that were not assembled correctly. Be sure to
inspect all the bolts and nuts and tighten them if they are not already. Be sure that there are bolts
where the assembly instructed installation of bolts.
PROBLEM: The bike trainer wobbles or shakes during usage.
SOLUTION: Adjust the Rear Stabilizer (06) located underneath the bikes. The Rear Stabilizer (06)
needs to be placed on a flat surface and locked in place. Refer to our Operations & Adjustments
pages on adjusting the stabilizers.
