Testing Network Connections

Performing a Ping Test
To perform a ping test:
1. Connect the network cable to the RJ-45 port located on the left panel of
your unit.
2. Press Menu, select Network Tests > Ping, and then press Enter.
3. Enter the URL or IP address to reach as
follows:
3a. Press Enter to open the Address list.
3b. Select an existing URL or IP address.
OR
Select New to define a new address, and then press Enter to
display the on-screen keyboard (for details about using
keyboards, see Using Menus and Keypad on page 13).
4. Select Ping (F1/F2 key).
You can stop a ping test at any time by pressing Cancel.
5. If desired, press Save to save the ping results in .txt format.
