a.Sitontheseatandstarttheengine.
b.MakesurethebladesDoNotengagewith
thePTOswitch“off”andtheclutch
disengaged.
Iftheclutchdoesnotdisengage,
reinstalltheshimandreferencethe
Troubleshootingsection.
c.EngageanddisengagethePTOswitch
tenconsecutivetimestoensuretheclutch
isfunctioningproperly.Iftheclutch
doesnotengageproperly,referencethe
Troubleshootingsection.

CAUTION
Excessivedebrisaroundenginecoolingair
intakeandexhaustsystemareacancauseengine,
exhaustarea,andhydraulicsystemtooverheat
whichcancreatearehazard.
Cleanalldebrisfromengineandexhaustsystem
area.
1.Stopengine,waitforallmovingpartstostop,and
removekey.Engageparkingbrake.
2.Cleanalldebrisfromrotatingengineairintake
screen,aroundengineshrouding,andexhaust
systemarea.
3.Wipeupanyexcessivegreaseoroilaroundthe
engineandexhaustsystemarea.
RemoveEngineShroudsand
CleanCoolingFins
ServiceInterval:Every100hours
1.Stopengine,waitforallmovingpartstostop,and
removekey.Engageparkingbrake.
2.Removecoolingshroudsfromengineandclean
coolingns.Alsocleandust,dirtandoilfrom
externalsurfacesofenginewhichcancause
inadequatecooling.
3.Makesurecoolingshroudsarereinstalled.
Operatingtheenginewithoutcoolingshroudswill
causeenginedamageduetooverheating.
