thecrankcase.Neveroperatetheenginewiththe
oillevelbelowthe“Lmarkoroverthe“F”mark
onthedipstick.

Changetheoilandlterwhiletheengineisstill
warm.Theoilwillowmorefreelyandcarryaway
moreimpurities.Makesuretheengineislevelwhen
lling,checking,orchangingtheoil.
1.Starttheengineandletitrununtilwarm.This
warmstheoilsoitdrainsbetter.
2.Disengagethebladecontrolswitchandmovethe
motioncontrolsoutwardtotheneutralposition
andengageparkingbrake.
3.Stoptheengine,removethekey,andwaitforall
movingpartstostopbeforeleavingtheoperating
position.
4.Cleantheareaaroundthedrainplugandonthe
machineframe.Placeapanunderneathmachine
directlybelowthedrainholeintheframeas
shownin
