Your Inventory 
Setting Up The Recipe Feature 
The first step is to add a carton of cigarettes as a separate item in your inventory.  
From the Inventory Maintenance Screen: 
1.  Select [5] Administrative. 
2.  Select [A] Inventory Maintenance. 
3.  Select Add Item. 
4.  Select Standard Item. 
5.  Choose a Department from the drop-down list 
(“Cigarettes” in our example). 
6.  Enter an Item Number. 
7.  Enter the Item Description (“Brand X – Carton” 
in our example). 
8.  Enter the Item Cost (optional). 
9.  Enter the Item Price (required; $50.00 in our 
example). 
Next, you’ll enter the In Stock information for cartons of cigarettes: 
1.  Enter the number of “cartons” in stock in the # 
In Stock field. We’ll use 4 for our example (4 
cartons constitutes 40 packs as there are 10 
packs per carton). 
2.  Select Save Changes.
