2. Insert 1 AAA 1.5V battery (battery included) as indicated by
the polarity symbols (+/-). See Fig.C.
3. Replace the battery cover.

BATTERY INSTALLATION
1. Remove the battery cover on the back of the thermometer.
°C/ °F TEMPERATURE DISPLAY
Locate °C/°F switch next to the battery position. Slide switch to
select Fahrenheit or Celsius temperature scale. See Fig.C.
POWERING ON/OFF
Locate the power button on the right side
of the thermometer. Slide switch to the
“ON” position to turn on the thermometer.
When not in use, slide to the “OFF” position.
OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Remove the battery cover and insert the battery on the back side of thermometer and select
°C/ °F next to the battery compartment for desired temperature scale. Replace the battery
cover.
2. Slide switch to “ON” on the right side of thermometer.
3. Manual extend the probe completely.
4. Remove the meat or poultry from the oven and insert the
probe tip into the thickest part of the meat or poultry but
not in contact with bone or gristle. See Fig.B.
5. When the temperature is stable, press” HOLD” to lock
the temperature on screen (“HOLD” appears on screen).
Remove the thermometer to check whether the desired
temperature is reached. If not, return the meat or poultry
to the oven and press the “HOLD” button again to release the locked-in temperature and
display current temperature (“HOLD” disappears from screen). Repeat the above steps until
the desired temperature is reached.
6. Timer count-up or count-down:
To start a count-up time, without setting a time, press to start from zero. The timer will
count up to 99 hours, 59 minutes.
To set a count-down time, press +H to set the hours and press +M to set the minutes of the
displayed time. Press and hold +H or +M to increase the time setting quickly.
To begin the count-down time, press when you start cooking. When count-down is
finished, the thermometer will beep and the LCD will flash. Press to silence the alert.
To pause the timer during a count-down or count-up, press +M and + H to reset to zero.
7. Slide switch to “OFF” to conserve battery life when you are finished cooking.
OPERATION INSTRUCTIONS:
It will flash when start a count-up/ count down time
Please read and understand this entire manual before attempting to
assemble, operate or install the product.
1. Do not leave in an oven or grill during cooking. Do not put in the
dishwasher. Not for microwave use.
2. Handle with care. Thermometer probe may become hot during use.
3. Remove battery if the thermometer will not be used of a long period
of time.
4. Chemical burn hazard. Keep battery away from children. The battery
should be disposed of properly. Even used battery may cause injury.
5. Always completely secure the battery compartment. If the battery
compartment does not close securely, stop using the product, remove
the battery, and keep it away from children.
CARE AND MAINTENANCE
Hand wash the meat probe ONLY using mild soap and hot water. Rinse
thoroughly. Dry completely with a soft cloth.
