11.2. Electronic control panel alarms
When the electronic control panel detects a lack of water in the boiler, the fi ve lights on the control
panel will blink.
When the volume meter on the electronic control panel detects a problem, the light for the dose
which we have pressed blinks.
Maximum security period. All doses have a maximum coffee dispensing time of fi ve minutes.
Heating of liquids
a) Fit the steam pipe, which is above the tray, and open the steam tap, see (1) Fig. 1-, so
that any condensed water in the pipe escapes.
b) Close the steam tap.
c) Place the steam pipe in the liquid to be heated.
d) Open the tap. It will begin to heat (never take the steam pipe out of the liquid to be
heated because it could spray out hot liquid which could cause scalding).
e) When the process is fi nished, place the vaporiser on the tray, open the steam tap so
that the inside of the pipe is clear of remains of milk or other liquids, close the tap and
clean the outside of the pipe with a damp cloth.
Extraction of water for infusions (teas)
Place the receptacle in which you wish to put the hot water beneath the water pipe.
Open the water tap, see (3) Fig. 1, until enough water has been obtained.
Close the tap.
