1. Attach 6 Brackets
Screw a bracket behind each hinge and 1 across
from each hinge on the opposite side of door.
2. Draw Plumb Line
On the Hinge side of the wall, using a level, draw
a perfectly plumb line down the drywall roughly
½” in from rough opening.
3. Place Door in opening
Line up the top hinge side bracket’s reference
notches with the “drawn” line from step 2. Screw
the top hinge side bracket to wall. Use the same
reference notch when screwing in the next 2
hinge side brackets. Door is now plumb/level.
4. Screw in final 3 brackets
Secure the opposite side of the door to the wall.
Screw into place.
5. Mount Trim over the brackets
Complete the installation by nailing the
casing/trim over the brackets to completely
conceal them.
6. For added support: remove the center
hinge screw from the hinges and replace
with a 2” or longer screw (not included). The
bracket has a clearance hole for the addition
of these screws.
