EXTECH’S EX650 SERIES CLAMP METERS:
Ready for tough HVAC, industrial and electrical troubleshooting/
predictive maintenance challenges:
• 1.18” (30mm) jaw size handles conductors up to 350MCM
• True RMS for precise AC readings ensures accuracy even with distorted signals
• AC current testing to 600A (AC and DC current available on EX655)
• Low Impedance (LoZ) mode overcomes “ghost voltage” errors
• Integrated Non-Contact Voltage Detector
• Microamp (µA) mode for flame rod testing
• Data hold freezes a displayed reading
• Min/Max captures highest and lowest readings
• Low Pass Filter (LPF) to reduce high frequency noise for accurate readings (EX655)
• Ultra-wide temperature range: -40 to 1832°F (-40 to 1000°C) (EX655)

Say Goodbye to Ghost Voltage!
Ever get a voltage reading on a circuit that should have been off and reading
zero? It could be “ghost” voltage hopping over, through capacitive coupling, from
an energized wire near the circuit under test. Ditch the antiquated and heavy,
“wiggy”-style solenoid volt meter for low impedance ghost voltage testing. The
EX650 series DMMs with “LoZ” mode help eliminate false readings from stray
ghost voltage.
Standard meter shows six volts of ghost voltage, meter with LoZ shows correct
reading of zero volts.
