Parameter Description
local Uses the local username database for authentication.
none Uses no authentication.
radius Uses the list of all RADIUS servers for authentication.
tacacs Uses the list of all TACACS+ servers for authentication.
The following example configures HTTPS authentication.
(Extreme 220) (Config) # ip https authentication radius local
no ip https authentication
Use this command to return to the default.

This command enables access to the switch through the web interface. When access is enabled, users
can log in to the switch from the web interface. When access is disabled, users cannot log in to the
switch's web server. Disabling the web interface takes eect immediately. All interfaces are aected.
