This chapter describes the QoS (Quality of Service)
commands available in the 200 Series CLI.
Caution
The commands in this chapter are in one of two functional groups:
Show commands display switch settings, statistics, and other information.
Configuration commands configure features and options of the switch. For every
configuration command, there is a show command that displays the configuration setting.
Class of Service Commands
This section describes the commands used to configure and view CoS (Class of Service) settings for the
switch. The commands in this section allow you to control the priority and transmission rate of trac.
Note
Commands you issue in the Interface Config mode only aect a single interface. Commands
you issue in the Global Config mode aect all interfaces.
classofservice dot1p-mapping
This command maps an 802.1p priority to an internal trac class. The userpriority values can range from
0-7. The tracclass values range from 0-6, although the actual number of available trac classes
depends on the platform.
