linuxsh
Use the linuxsh command to access the Linux shell. Use the exit command to exit the Linux shell
and return to the 200 Series CLI. The shell session will timeout after five minutes of inactivity. The
inactivity timeout value can be changed using the session-timeout command in Line Console
mode (see session-timeout on page 48).
Default ip-port:2324
Format linuxsh [ip-port]

Parameter Description
ip-port The IP port number on which the Telnet daemon listens for connections. The range is 1 to
65535. The default value is 2324.
show loginsession
This command displays current Telnet, SSH and serial port connections to the switch. This command
displays truncated user names. Use the show loginsession long command to display the
complete usernames.

show loginsession
Mode Privileged EXEC
Column Meaning
ID Login Session ID.
User Name The name the user entered to log on to the system.
Connection From IP address of the remote client machine or EIA-232 for the serial port connection.
Idle Time Time this session has been idle.
Session Time Total time this session has been connected.
Session Type Shows the type of session, which can be HTTP, HTTPS, Telnet, serial, or SSH.
show loginsession long
This command displays the complete user names of the users currently logged in to the switch.
