TheWS‐AP3865eexternalantennaAPcanbeusedwithcertifiedexternalantennas.However,in
ordertocomplywiththelocallawsandregulations,anapprovalmayberequiredbythelocal
regulatoryauthorities.TheoptionalantennaslistedinTable B‐2havebeentestedandapproved
forusewiththeexternal
antennamodel.
Thisdevicehasbeen designedtooperatewiththeoptionalantennaslistedbelow,andhavinga
maximumgainof23dB.Antennasnotincludedinthislistorhavingagaingreaterthan23dBare
strictlyprohibitedforusewiththisdevice.Therequiredantennaimpedanceis50
ohms.
Toreducepotentialradiointerferencetootherusers,theantennatypeanditsgainshouldbeso
chosenthattheequivalentisotropicallyradiatedpower(e.i.r.p)isnotmorethanthatrequiredfor
successfulcommunication.
