Locating the latest software and product

release notes

This document ships with Virtual Services Platform 4000 components. Avaya recommends that you

check the Avaya Support Web site for the latest Virtual Services Platform 4000 software release.

Avaya also recommends that you read the following documents before you install and configure

Avaya Virtual Services Platform 4000:

• Documentation Reference for VSP Operating System Software, NN47227-100—contains an

overview of the Avaya Virtual Services Platform 4000 Series documentation suite. Read this

document to find the correct document that describes the task you need to perform.

• Quick Start Configuration for VSP Operating System Software, NN47227-102—provides

instructions to perform initial provisioning and basic configuration of the Avaya Virtual Services

Platform 4000 Series software.

• Release Notes for VSP Operating System Software, NN47227-401 —includes a list of known

issues, including workarounds if appropriate, and a list of fixed issues.

The Open Source license text for the VSP 4000 is included on the VSP 4000 product and is

accessible from the Command Line Interface by typing the following: more release/

v.x.y.z.GA/release/oss-notice.txt where v.x.y.z represents a specific release

number.
