Read me first

Important:

• The default baud rate for the console port on all IOC modules is 115200 bps.

• The IOC modules must be secured using the captive screws to ensure the module is

properly seated to the backplane connector pins.

Minimum software requirements

Extreme Networks Virtual Services Platform 8600 is a next generation high performance and highly

scalable chassis based modular Ethernet switching platform that features four types of I/O and

control (IOC) modules and the

8600SF switch fabric (SF) module.

The modules have a minimum software release requirement to function properly. The following table

identifies the minimum software release.
