Before mounting an electrical UL Listed junction box, consider the mounting location and
prepare the surface as necessary.

1. Mount the junction box in the wall or floor, following the directions provided with the
box.
2. Run the cables through the junction box.
TIP: Secure cables with clamps or ties to provide strain relief.
ATTENTION: To prevent short circuits, the outer foil shield can be cut back to the
point where the cable exits the cable clamp. Both braided and foil shields should
be connected to an equipment ground at the other end of the cable.
3. Disconnect power from all devices at the source.
4. Connect all cables to the FOX T UWP 302 rear panel connectors.
5. Secure the FOX T UWP 302 enclosure to the box using three of the provided screws
into the slots at the top and bottom of the device.
6. Fasten the Decora wallplate onto the enclosure using six of the provided screws in the
holes at the top and bottom.
