This section describes how to connect applicable cables to the MTP 1500RL 15HD RS SEQ
receiver.
It covers:

Rear Panel Features
The illustration below shows the rear panel of the MTP 1500RL 15HD RS SEQ receiver.

a Power connector — Plug the included external 12 VDC, 1 A, power supply into this
2-pole captive screw connector. See Power Supply Wiring” section for wiring details.
CAUTIONS: Always use a power supply supplied or specied by Extron. Use of an
unauthorized power supply voids all regulatory compliance certification
and may cause damage to the supply and the end product.
Unless otherwise stated, the AC/DC adapters are not suitable for use in
air handling spaces or in wall cavities.
The installation must always be in accordance with the applicable
provisions of National Electrical Code ANSI/NFPA 70, article 75 and the
Canadian Electrical Code part 1, section 16.
The power supply must not be permanently fixed to building structure
or similar structure.
b Input connector — Connect one end of the twisted pair cable from an MTP transmitter
to this RJ-45 connector (see “TP Cable Termination” to wire the connector).
CAUTION: Do not connect these devices to a computer data or telecommunications
network.
c Buffered output connector — Connect up to 5 daisy-chained MTP receivers to
this RJ-45 connector.
