2. Select the Com port to which your transmitter or receiver is connected. Click OK. The
FOX Extenders Control Program window appears (see gure 15).

NOTES: Figure 15 is an amalgam of program displays. Some controls and displays
are available when connected to the transmitter only and some when
connected to the receiver only. These functions are identified in the
descriptions that follow.
Only one fiber optic cable, transmitter-Tx-to-receiver-Rx, is required for
serial command transmission. But, if you connect only one ber optic
cable, the transmitter does not receive reports from the controlled device.
For the transmitter to receive responses from the controlled device,
you must install two fiber optic cables and leave link 2 enabled (via an
SIS command to the receiver or using the FOX Extenders Control
Program).
