Installation Overview

Planning

z Determine the optimum furniture location for the TLP 350CV keeping in mind the

following:

z the size of the enclosure that will be below the table,

z the orientation of the touch-screen for ease of viewing,

z the reach distance for a user for convenient operation,

z clearances for under-table cabling,

z the location of devices that may be connected to the AAPs both under and on top

of the furniture.

z Obtain the proper cutout dimensions or a router template for the craftsman cutting the

enclosure opening in the furniture,

z Determine the number and type of AAPs required by the installation.

Prepare the Cable Cubby enclosure

z Install the power module,

z Assemble the pass-through AAPs, install cables, and if applicable install passive AAPs.

Loosely fasten all AAPs to the AAP shelf.

z Install the AAP shelf assembly into the Cable Cubby enclosure and tighten all AAPs.

Install the Enclosure

z Mount the TLP 350CV into the furniture opening,

z Mount and connect the power supply to the TLP 350CV,

z Connect a LAN,

z If using the video monitoring capabilities, make all video input connections,

z Apply power and follow the on-screen instructions to set up the TLP 350CV for ﬁrst time

operation.
