Before You Begin

Check to make sure you have the following:

• For use with an automatic compensating valve

rate at 1.45 gpm (5.5 L/min) or less.

• This product is engineered to meet the EPA

WaterSense flow requirement. The flow rate is

governed by the flow controller. If replacement is

ever required, be sure to replace it with a

WaterSense compliant flow controller to retain

the water conserving flow rate of this product.

Troubleshooting Guide Minor problems often can be fixed without a plumber. Before doing any work on the faucet, shut off water supply and close stopper or drain to avoid losing small parts. Problem Cause Solution Leaks underneath handle. Cartridge has come loose or o-ring on cartridge is dirty or twisted. Tighten the cartridge by turning it clockwise. Move the cartridge stem to the “on” position. If either o-ring is twisted, straighten it out. If either o-ring is damaged, replace it.
