1. DIAL POSITIONING (PRE-FIRST IGNITION)
a. WaterFlowDial-ewatertemperaturedialshouldberstsettothe“low”setting.
b. Winter/SummerDial-ewinter/summerknobshouldberstsettothe“summer”setting.
c. FlameDial-eamedialshouldberstsettothe“low”setting.
2. GAS SUPPLY
Gas supply to the EZ 101 unit should only be propane (lpg) regulated to a pressure setting of 11”WC. e EZ 202
Natural Gas requires 8” WC. Lower or higher pressures beyond this value will deliver inconsistent ignition and
operation and are not recommended.
3. WATER SOURCE
Inletwatersourceshouldbeatleast1gpmlteredwaterataminimumpressureof8PSI.Wateroworwater
pressure values less than these recommended may result in unit failing to ignite.
4. ADJUSTMENTS FOLLOWING FIRST IGNITION
Note: ese adjustments should be made with the unit running and heating water.
a. Toincreasewaterow,slowlyturnwatertemperaturedialcounterclockwise.If,whileincreasing
waterow,theEZ101amesout,slowlyreturndialclockwiseuntilunitreignites.
Stop! At point of reignition you have reached the maximum ow rate as provided by your
chosen water inlet source.
b. Toincreasewatertemperature,slowlyturnthe“ame”dialclockwise.Ifyoureachthemaximum
amelevelandthewaterisstillnotwarmenough,returnthe“ame”dialtothelowsettingand
attempt “step c”. When desired water temperature is set, do not reset the dials until a new water
source is provided.
c. Turn the winter/summer dial counter clockwise to the next setting. e dial will lock into place
when turned to each setting. With the dial at the new setting return to step “b” and continue to
nd desired temperature setting.
