Security
There are three types of security setting categories, and you can optimize security mode by
choosing sub menus in “ Phone Lock” category. This “ Security function” will help you to keep
privacy and to prevent other people from illegal use.
1. PIN Code
When the PIN Setting feature is enabled, user must enter the PIN each time the phone
is switched on. And before entering the PIN, the phone shall not be activated.
2. Phone Lock
There are three options for you to optimize security setting. Each options
A. Privacy
When the Privacy feature is enabled, user must enter the password each time and
then press any keys. And before entering the password, not available to make a call
and or operate the phone. But answering a call, receiving message and turning
on/off are available without entering the password.
B. Phone Lock
When the Phone Lock feature is enabled, user must enter the password each time
the phone is switched on. And making a call or operating the phone is not available
without the password.
C. SIM Lock
When the SIM Lock feature is enabled, the phone only works with the current SIM.
If the phone is switched on with uncertified SIM, the phone shall ask the password.
Once the correct password has entered, the phone shall work with uncertified SIM.
3. FDN Mode
When the FDN Mode feature is enabled, the person using this phone can call only the
phone numbers stating with the numbers stored in FDN. To makes a call to the number
not starting the numbers stored in FDN, you must enter the PIN2 to disable FDN mode.
If the SIM card does not have PIN2, this feature is not supported.
In the FDN Mode, you can use several useful functions as following.
A. View and Edit : you can see and edit FDN entry after input PIN2.
B. Add : you can add FDN entry after input PIN2.
C. Delete : you can delete FDN entry after input PIN2.
D. SMS : you can send SMS to the phone numbers starting with the numbers
stored in FDN.
E. Short Type : you can choose short type among Number / Name / Sequence.
