Using Phonebook
You can store phone numbers and their corresponding names in the memory of your SIM card.
In addition, you can store up to 500 entries and categorize in 5 groups. The SIM card and phone
memories, although physically separate, are used as if they were a single entity, called
phonebook.
Storing a Phone Number with a Name
As soon as you start to enter a number, [Save] appears above the soft key(left) to allow you
store the number in the phonebook.
1. Key in the number to be stored.
Note : If you make a mistake while entering a number, correct it using the [Cancel] key.
Press the [Cancel] soft key to clear one letter/digit at a time. Press and hold the [Cancel]
key to clear the entire message or characters on the edit screen.
2. Select an icon to identify the number to be saved. Three categories are available;
home number), (mobile phone number) and (office number). To select the
category press the [Select] soft key(left).
3. Input name and select group by moving navigation key and pressing [OK] soft key(left).
You can choose one among 5groups or nothing. If you choose no group, the number is
save and displayed “ No Group” .
4. Select one between SIM memory and phone memory that you wish to store with the
number by pressing [Select] soft key(left).
l SIM Memory : SIM card memory (capacity of storing records depends on your SIM
card).
l Phone Memory : Phone memory, which can store up to 500 entries records.
Storing a Phone Number using the Phonebook Menu
1. When the idle screen is displayed, press [Phonebook] soft key(right). Then, Phonebook
menu is displayed on the screen.
2. Scroll to [New Entry] by pressing up or down navigation key and press [Select] soft
key(left).
3. Select an icon to identify the number to be saved. Three categories are available ;
