Menu Functions
1 Messages
The SMS (Short Message Service) function is a network service and may not be supported by
your network. Messages can be sent by fax, EMS, X400 and email format. Your network
supports these services. Te sent text messages by phone, you must obtain the number of the
SMS center from your service provider on the S.C. number menu (1.5.1)
When the icon appears, you have received new text messages. If the message memory
is full, the SIM full message is displayed and you cannot receive any new messages. Use the
Delete option in the Inbox menu.
Note : The SMS service may not be available on all networks. Some network allows to be
sent only within its own network.
1.1 Inbox
Via this menu, you can view the new text messages or the read messages.
Sender phone numbers or names (if stored in the Phonebook) are displayed on the list.
If you choose the [Select] soft key, the following options are available.
n Delete : allows you to delete the viewed message
n Reply : allow you to reply to the sender.
n Forward : allow you to forward the message.
n Call Back : allows you to call the sender back.
n Select Object : allows you to save the objects(MVM) of incoming messages.
You can see object [My contents] menu(1.8)
n Save Number : allows you to save the phone number of incoming messages.
1.2 Outbox
Via this menu, you can view the saved messages which have sent or unsent.
Send and Delete options are available.
1.3 Write Message
Via this menu, you can write a message and inset EMS objects..
