2.7 MMS Setup
Within the MMS sub-menu, you can define default values for those parameters which
are common for mobile-originated messages. With this menu option, you can
experience a more comfortable service. This menu option will display the MMS related
parameter.
The options are Delivery Report, Read Only, Auto Download, Sender Visibility, and
Time of Expiry.
2.7.1 Delivery Report
Feedback information provided to an originator of User Agent or VASP (Value
Added Service Provider) by Multimedia Message Relay Server about the status
of the delivery of a multimedia message.
There are 3 options as follow:
- Not Set
- On
- Off
2.7.2 Read Reply
Whether a read report from every recipient is wanted
There are 3 options as follow:
- Not Set
- On
- Off
2.7.3 Auto Download
This option allows you to set value for the auto download. Depending on the
option you set, you can download messages automatically.
There are 2 options as follow:
- No
- Yes
2.7.4 Sender Visibility
This option allows you to send a multimedia message without disclosing sender
identity.
There are 3 options as follow:
- Not Set
- Hide
- Show
2.7.5 Time of Expiry
This option allows you to set time when message expires and need not be
delivered any longer. You can select the period in which the service center is to
try to deliver message. Maximum period is that the service provider permits.
