7.2.1 Active : Activates the call waiting service.
7.2.2 Check Status : Displays the current status of the call waiting service.
7.2.3 Cancel : Cancels the call waiting service.
7.3 Call Barring
This network service allows you to restrict your calls.
Call barring can be set up in the following ways
7.3.1 All Outgoing : calls cannot be made.
7.3.2 International : international calls cannot be made.
7.3.3 Int’ l Except Home : When abroad, calls can be made only to numbers within the
current country and to your home country that is the country
where your home network provider is located.
7.3.4 All Incoming : calls cannot be received.
7.3.5 Incoming Roaming : calls cannot be received when you are using your phone
outside your home service area.
7.3.6 Change Password : You can set and change the call barring password obtained
from your service provider using this option. You must enter
the current password before you can specify a new one.
7.3.7 Cancel All Barring : all call barring settings are deactivated. Calls can be
made and received normally.
Following options for each service are available.
n Activate : Activates the call barring service selected.
n Check Status : Displays the current status of the call barring service selected.
n Cancel : Cancels the call barring service selected.
Note : The phone sends your settings to the network and the network s
acknowledgement is displayed. You can deactivate deactivates all call diverting settings
by selecting the Cancel All.
7.4 Caller ID
If you don’ t want to send your phone number, select [Hide Number] menu.
