4.1.6. Equivalent CO2 / VOC Gas Sensor
The gas sensor measures TVOC or equivalent-CO2 with a digital output via an I2C interface. The output from the sensor
is read by the AmbiMate’s microcontroller. The eCO2/VOC sensor is suitable to perform optimal in office conditions.
Please be aware that any type of silicones, cause sensor poisoning and will reduce the sensitivity irrecoverably. The
sensor will perform an automatic baseline correction every 24 hours. The characteristics of the sensor are summarized
in the table below
